Doordarshan has set a reserve price of Rs 4.3
crore per slot for the 27th online e-auction
for filling up vacant slots on Doordarshan’s
direct-to-home Free Dish platform to be
conducted on 30th May, 2016.
The e-auction will be conducted by Noida
based M/s. C1 India Pvt. Ltd. on behalf of
Prasar Bharati.
The reserve price in the last e-auction was Rs
4.3 crore.
The eligibility terms and conditions including
other relevant details for this e-auction are
displayed on DD website: www.ddindia.gov.in.
However, the participation amount (EMD) in
the 27th e-auction is Rs 1.50 crore which
needs to be deposited in advance on or before
30-05-2016 (Monday) latest by 12:00 P.M
alongwith processing fee of Rs 10,000 (Non-
refundable) in favour of PB (BCI) Doordarshan
Commercial Service, New Delhi.
The application can be submitted in Person or
by Registered Post latest by 12:00 P.M on or
before 30-05-2016 (Monday) in Room No.320,
3rd Floor, Tower-A, Directorate General:
Doordarshan, Doordarshan Bhawan,
Copernicus Marg, New Delhi – 110001.
The applicants must provide details of the
Uplink/Downlink permission documents
received from the concerned ministries with
the applications to ensure they are not
rejected.
The demand drafts of unsuccessful bidders will
be returned immediately or within a week after
the e-auction process is completed.
The successful channels are required to deposit
Rs.1.10 Crore (1st Installment) of Reserve
Price within one month from the placement of
TV channel on DD Free Dish alongwith Service
Tax @ 14.5% of Total Bid Amount. The 2nd
Installment amount of Rs.1.10 Crore to be
deposited by the successful channel in the
second month from the placement of the
channel. The Balance Bid amount should be
deposited on or before Six Months from the
placement of the channel on DD Free Dish
failing which the deposited amount will be
forfeited and channel will be discontinued
from DD Free Dish after the 21 days
discontinuation notice.
